  11. NeXT Telesales is now taking orders for upgrades to NEXTSTEP User 3.3
  12. for Intel and Motorola processors.
  13.  
  14. Based on feedback from NeXT's customers, more than 1,000 enhancements
  15. have been made to NEXTSTEP to address critical deployment issues for
  16. enterprise-wide client/server applications.  NEXTSTEP Release 3.3
  17. includes enhancements in the areas of interoperability, scalability
  18. and ease of use.  Specifically, the new release offers more support
  19. for Intel-based PCs, eases system administration efforts, improves
  20. large network scalability, provides enhanced mail features, and
  21. through SoftPC, supports enhanced-mode MS-DOS & Windows applications.

  30. NEXTIME is NeXT's entry into time-based digital media for corporate
  31. customers interested in video applications.  In its first release,
  32. NEXTIME provides NEXTSTEP users the ability to play movie files.
  33. NEXTIME supports the industry-standard QuickTime file format and
  34. Cinepak compression scheme. Future releases will add support for
  35. recording movies using video capture cards, as well as additional
  36. file formats and compression schemes.
